Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between KHB and The Cambodian Red Cross

In the morning of the 4th of September, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Lok Jom Tieuv Meng Neary Saopheak, vice president of the Cambodian Red Cross, and Okhna Leang Khun, chairman of Khmer Brewery Limited.

With the aim of helping reduce the number of traffic accidents in Cambodia, Khmer Brewery Limited agreed to donate materials used for the promotion of traffic awareness to the Cambodian Red Cross with a total value of US $21,788.  These will be used by the Cambodian Red Cross for their 2012 – 2013 ‘Road Safety Project’.

Khmer Brewery Limited is constantly involved in helping our society.  This assistance is achieved through cooperating with the Royal Government of Cambodia, the Cambodian Red Cross, Konthea Bopha Hospital, and others.

Furthermore, KHB is providing a large number of scholarships to students from needy backgrounds who wish to continue their studies at high school and / or university level.

Last but not least, we are proud to say that Khmer Brewery Limited is one of Cambodia’s leading enterprises, always striving to help our society in humanitarian missions and assisting in the creation of employment opportunities for Cambodians.
