Phnom Penh, 12TH of October, 2012

Lok Oknha Leang Khun, Chairman of Khmer Brewery Limited, donated material that will be used to promote and educate the Cambodian public on road safety issues.  Lok Jom Tieuv Meng Neary Saopheak, vice president of Cambodia’s Red Cross and representative of Lok Jum Tieuv Kate Pret Bondet Bun Rany Hun Sen, attended the ceremony, which was held at Cambodia’s Red Cross headquarters.

With the aim of helping reduce the number of traffic accidents in Cambodia, Khmer Brewery Limited agreed to donate diverse material that will be used by the Red Cross to promote road safety in our country.  The material, with a total value of US $21,788, consisted of: 50,000 leaflets; 5,000 posters; 10,000 booklets on the importance of using helmets whilst driving; 120 banners; 2,000 traffic vests; and 2,000 t-shirts.

The above-mentioned material will be used by Cambodia’s Red Cross for their 2012 – 2013 ‘Road Safety Project’.
